Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama, and the medicine drama The Resident. The actress received critical acclaim for her role in her portrayal of Eleni Anderson Cooper in her first TV role in CBS' soap drama Guiding Light. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are some of her most acclaimed film parts. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the author of the Immortals film Immortals is being adapted for the large screen. Her role will be alongside Vlas Parlapanides and Charley parlapanides. The actress is currently filming an upcoming series called Gods & Heroes.
