Emily Irene VanCamp has been an Canadian actress for many years. She is well-known for her roles in film and television. There is a huge fanbase on American and Canadian TV. Emily began to become interested in performing arts when she was in her 12th grade. Her older sister Katie on the set of a film. Once she discovered her passion for acting, she began to take acting classes, and then going for auditions. In the beginning, she scored a handful of commercials before being cast in the Canadian TV show for children Are You Afraid of the Dark? where she was seen only in one scene, without any dialogue. At the age of 15years old, Emily had her big breakthrough after she was made a regular of the WB Television series Glory Days. The show ended up being cancelled after only nine episodes, her performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who enlisted her on his TV show Everwood.
