Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to a Russian mother from India and an Afghan Hindu father. She can speak fluent German Russian English, French Persian as well as Hindi. Her parents are Russian and Indian. At the age of 11, Annet Mahendru choreographed and performed a dance which led to the honor of a German TV appearance. Her performance featured a Russian-born snow maiden that transformed into an entertaining Indian dancer. After high school, she graduated and earned a bachelor's degree from the Department of English at the University of New York. She took classes in acting with the HB Studios, but then moved on to pursue improvised comedy at the Groundlings School. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and Russian-speaking mom Olga. Her family relocated from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she was 13, and is now starring along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. Television actress who is best known for her role as former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova on FX's The Americans. The actress has a regular role in The Following on Fox, The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
